Moto2 GP Indonesia Prove Libere – Fermin Aldeguer è stato il più veloce nel primo turno di prove libere del Gran Premio d’Indonesia. Il pilota del team Beta Tools SpeedUp che il prossimo anno debutterà in MotoGP con la Ducati del team Gresini Racing, ha registrato il suo miglior crono in 1:33.955, precedendo la Kalex di Aron Canet (Fantic Racing). Terza posizione per Tony Arbolino (Elf Marc VDS Racing Team).
Quarto tempo per Somkiat Chantra (IDEMITSU Honda Team Asia), seguito da Manuel Gonzalez (QJMOTOR Gresini Moto2) e dalla Boscoscuro di Ai Ogura (MT Helmets – MSI). Deniz Oncu (Red Bull KTM Ajo) insegue con il settimo tempo a precedere Alonso Lopez (Beta Tools SpeedUp) e Jake Dixon (CFMOTO Inde Aspar Team).
Chiude la TOP 10 della classifica dei tempi, la Kalex di Albert Arenas (QJMOTOR Gresini Moto2).
