Ottavo tempo per Celestino Vietti, a sorpresa Aldeguer costretto alla Q1
Moto2 Gp Austria Red Bull Ring Prove 2 – Sergio Garcia ha ottenuto il miglior tempo nell’ultimo turno di pre-qualifiche della classe Moto2 al Red Bull Ring, teatro del Gran Premio d’Austria.
Il leader della classifica iridata ha girato in 1:33.461, nuovo record del circuito austriaco per la classe di “mezzo” del Motomondiale. Alle spalle del #3 del Team MT Helmets – MSI troviamo i due alfieri del Marc VDS Racing Team, Filip Salac e Tony Arbolino, staccati rispettivamente di 0.163s e 0.178s.
Quarto e quinto tempo per Aron Canet (Fantic Racing) e Ai Ogura (MT Helmets – MSI), quest’ultimo scivolato senza conseguenze.
Manuel Gonzalez ha portato la Kalex del Gresini Racing in sesta posizione, davanti a quella dell’OnlyFans American Racing Team di Joe Roberts. In Top Ten anche Celestino Vietti (Red Bull Ajo), Darryn Binder (Intact GP) e Somkiat Chantra.
Qualificati direttamente alla Q2 anche Jake Dixon (Aspar), Alonso Lopez (SpeedUp), Deniz Oncu (Red Bull Ajo) e Marcos Ramirez (OnlyFans American Racing Team).
Fuori a sorpresa Fermin Aldeguer (SpeedUp) che dovrà passare dalla Q1, dove troviamo anche i nostri Dennis Foggia (Italtrans) e Mattia Pasini (wild-card Team Ciatti Boscoscuro).
