Moto2 GP Argentina Free Practice 1 – Manuel Gonzalez was the fastest in the first free practice session of the Moto2 class Argentine Grand Prix, the second race of the 2023 MotoGP world championship.
The Team VR46 MasterCamp driver completed 12 laps, the best in 1:44.185. Behind him were Somkiat Chantra (Team Asia) and Aron Canet (Pons).
Tony Arbolino (Marc VDS), the best of the Italians, is fifth, behind Filip Salac (Gresini) and ahead of Pedro Acosta (Red Bull Ajo).
Seventh time for Jake Dixon, with the Team Aspar rider ahead of Fermin Aldeguer (SpeedUp), Sam Lowes (Marc VDS) and category rookie Dennis Foggia (Italtrans), author of an excellent session.
Lorenzo Dalla Porta (SAG) is 15th, while the Fantic Racing centaur, Celestino Vietti is 20th.
The 3 Moto2022 World Champion Izan Guevara is still absent, injured, who also missed the opening match in Portimao.
