MotoGP | Jerez Test Day 1: Bezzecchi, “Unique day”

MotoGP Test Jerez Day 1 Ducati VR46 – Official debut in the premier class for Marco Bezzecchi who closed the first day of IRTA testing with the 25th time.

After closing the 2021 Moto2 season in third position in the world rankings, the rider from Rimini made his MotoGP debut in the VR46 Racing team astride the Ducati Desmosedici GP21.

“What a unique day! The Ducati Desmosedici GP21 is really fast! I started slowly, step by step, to better understand the bike. It was exciting, impressive and very special. It's the first test, we don't have any timing objectives, just finding the best riding position and starting to get familiar with power, engine braking and chassis. A special thank you to the whole Team: they really did a great job to get here ready and support me as much as possible.”
