MotoGP Test Jerez Day 1 Ducati VR46 – Luca Marini closed the first day of IRTA testing on the Jerez circuit with the eleventh time.
The rider from Pesaro took to the track for the first time astride the Ducati Desmosedici GP21 used until Sunday by Francesco Bagnaia

“It was a great day: the Ducati GP21 is fantastic! Nice to ride, a lot of feeling and lots of feedback. It's really a pleasure to be able to race for this Team, a nice group: the atmosphere is special, there's a lot of positive energy, desire to do well and I'm happy because I pushed to have each of them in the team. It will be a challenge for everyone, some people I already know from Moto2, others are new. Today we didn't do much on the bike, we went around to start understanding how it behaves and what differences there are compared to the one I used in 2020. Tomorrow the goal is to improve the lap time and pace."
