What misfortune takes away, fortune restores; Jorge Lorenzo's Sunday at Misano, the Mallorcan Yamaha MotoGP rider, could be read in this way. As you will remember, in fact, in Holland the world championship leader was innocently "mowed down" by his compatriot Alvaro Bautista, today the same fate has befallen Dani Pedrosa, "hit" by Barberà and his great rival in the race for the title, a race which now sees the Majorcan in +38 on the Honda rider.
“Today we were very lucky and they (Dani Pedrosa's Honda) very unlucky. We were penalized in Holland, today it was Dani who was unlucky. Probably without the restart (due to Abraham's bike having a problem) he wouldn't have had that brake problem and probably wouldn't have crashed. Without Hector's mistake (Barberà, who hit Pedrosa) maybe he would have been able to catch me because I wasn't too fast today. In fact my pace wasn't very high and we lapped slower than last year. On the third lap I even risked falling, fortunately I was standing and when I saw the “Pedrosa OUT” sign I just tried to get to the finish line. I was then pressured from a timing point of view by Rossi, who ran a great race. In fact, his Ducati is not up to the standard of Yamaha and Honda but he went very fast. By driving like this next year he will be fighting for victory."

Well done Lorenzo for admitting he was lucky. He is always a sincere and correct rider and I hope that next year with Vale they can GIVE a great show to the MotoGP.
