MotoGP | GP Silverstone Qualifying: Enea Bastianini, “We can have a good race”

Ducati Esponsorama Avintia GP Silverstone Great Britain MotoGP 2021 – Enea Bastianini closed qualifying for the Silverstone Grand Prix with the 13th time.

After missing out on direct access to Q2, the Avintia team driver recorded an excellent time in the first qualifying round, but during the second attempt he suffered a fall which prevented him from improving further and passing the round.

“Today I tried, what happened could happen and unfortunately I crashed. I have a good pace and I showed it in FP4. We could have done an excellent qualifying in Q2 and started ahead, but obviously it's not time for me yet. I'm happy with the team because we improved session after session. In Q1 they set incredible times, mine would have been enough to make the third row in Q2. They were good, but I'm sure that if we start well we can have a good race. Ducati isn't bad here and we have to exploit our strong points."
