MotoGP Andrea Dovizioso Yamaha Sky Sport – Interviewed by Antonio Boselli during the first free practice session valid for the British Grand Prix, the 12th round of the 2021 MotoGP world championship, Alberto Giribuola expressed his own assessment of the negotiation between Yamaha SRT and Andrea Dovizioso, specifying how the objective of the latter could be to guarantee an important seat for the 2021 season.

According to the Italian's former technical chief at Ducati, "Dovi" has the characteristics and talent to be able to make the most of the characteristics of the M1, a motorbike which, let us remember, presents notable differences compared to the Desmosedici which he rode until the end from last season.

Dovizioso, we remember, would arrive in SRT alongside Valentino Rossi possibly starting from Aragon, with Franco Morbidelli who would be "hijacked" to Yamaha Monster to replace Maverick Vinales. The Italian's objective, in the last six rounds of the championship, would be to best prepare for the 2022 season.
