Italian GP Mugello Monster Yamaha MotoGP 2022 – Franco Morbidelli closed the Mugello Grand Prix, eighth stage of the 2022 MotoGP, in 17th position.
Starting from the back, the Italian-Brazilian driver tried to make up ground, but was stuck in the fight for the points.

“Starting from 23rd position was easy, but I caught up with the riders in front of me who were fighting. I was in 16th position. Unfortunately I wasn't able to join the group fighting for points. Darryn Binder was behind me the entire race, but then she used the slipstream to pass me at the finish line. But overall we have made some improvements. We will try to improve other things in Barcelona.”
