“I'm obviously happy with this podium but I have to be honest, I would have liked to win today. Maybe if I had been a little more aggressive in qualifying and in the first laps I would have been able to stay closer to Pecco and Fabio. The reality is that all the drivers go very fast and don't make mistakes, so it's not easy to overtake at all. But we must not make excuses and work to continue improving. However, it was nice to get on the podium for the fourth time in a row and then do it right here at Mugello, in Italy. Let's see if next weekend we can find something more and fight for the victory."

“When I saw my pace at the end of the race, I was a bit annoyed! Once again it was the grid position that penalized us heavily, because then in the race I managed to be fast and overtake many riders. “There were many positive points from this weekend, regarding our work on the RS-GP, and I'm happy about this. Unfortunately during the race I had a technical problem that didn't stop me from running but, clearly, didn't stop me from keeping my pace either. In any case, even after the pit stop, with cooled tires, I managed to catch up with the group. Let's say that a race fighting with some riders would have been possible. However, let's look at the glass half full and at an Aprilia that continues to prove competitive!”
