Michele Pirro MotoGP 2016 Gp Aragon Team Ducati – Michele Pirro he closed the Aragon Grand Prix only in 12th place, thus gaining just a handful of points with his official Ducati. The driver from San Giovanni Rotondo, who replaced the injured Andrea Iannone here, had closed his warm up with a good ninth place, but in the race he was unable to make a good start, dropping to fifteenth position at the end of the first lap. He too then, like his team mate Dovizioso, began to experience anomalous vibrations in his Desmosedici GP but still managed to gain some positions and finished his race in twelfth place.

“It was a bit of a complicated weekend for me – said Michele Pirro – I missed the first round on Friday and yesterday we had some problems so I wasn't able to qualify well and was forced to start from the back. The goal today was to get to the top ten but unfortunately the battle in the first laps made me make some mistakes when overtaking and from mid-race the bike started to have strong vibrations so, given that I didn't have the chance to go to catch those ahead of me, I just tried to finish my race. I'm sorry because in my opinion we had the potential to finish in the top 10."
