Superbike Magny-Cours: The race for the world title continues

Superbike, Fassi French Round. The Motul FIM Superbike World Championship has reached the eleventh round of the season, which will take place for the 25th time at the historic Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours, located 250 km from Paris.

Aside from the happy and long-lived anniversary, this could be a decisive event, in which we could see three titles awarded on the French track: WorldSSP, STK1000 and WorldSbk constructors, if the protagonists of the respective categories win, namely Sofuoglu, Mercado and the Kawasaki,

However, as usual, all eyes will be on the internal challenge between Jonathan Rea and Tom Sykes, with the reigning champion the big favorite given the double he achieved here last year, while the third wheel could once again be, as in Germany, Chaz Davies.

The only French driver at the start, Sylvain Guintoli appears in front of his home crowd very motivated: returning for the round at the Lausitzring after a long stop, the former World Champion wants to shine to remain in the series derivatives next year .
It should be noted that during the summer both Yamaha riders, Guintoli and Alex Lowes, carried out a test on the French circuit, so on paper they should start a little ahead of their direct rivals

For Nicky Hayden, Magny–Cours will represent something new given that he has never raced here in any class of the world championship in which he was a protagonist: Kentucky Kid, however, presents himself in full form after his brief return to MotoGP, for the Aragon GP, ​​where he replaced the injured Jack Miller, also scoring points.
The American will therefore be among the protagonists of the French weekend, like Leon Camier, who last year took his MV Agusta to fifth position, and is now aiming for the top three positions after coming close to them in Germany.

Not to be underestimated are drivers of the caliber of Davide Giugliano, Michael Van der Mark and Lorenzo Savadori, looking for redemption after the unfortunate round at the Lausitzring.
