No judgments can be given, but I lost the front in a strange situation and then I felt some vibrations that slowed me down. I had to give up both when braking and when traveling and subsequently the tire turned on the rim. When you're on a motorbike you don't realize what's happening, but it was too dangerous.”

Can we at least talk about the Michelin disaster for you?

“It's not yet the time to assign blame, because we don't know exactly what happened, it's a question mark. It's right to wait for the checks, but I can say that with Ducati problems occur often and therefore the tires are not suitable for all bikes. We need analysis and answers.”

So is it a specific Ducati problem?

“If it's a big problem for Ducati we can't know yet. It is clear that there is a question mark and we will delve deeper to understand the causes and resolve this problem.”

Could the fact that you are often forced to use soft or medium tires due to lack of grip have an impact?

“We are forced to choose certain solutions, but I don't think that's the only problem.”

It would seem that you also had problems with the rear, with the tire spinning on the rim, how could this happen?

“It could depend on incorrect assembly or the rim not “holding” the tyre, but we need to go into detail to understand well.”
