MotoGP Aragon, Free practice: Dani Pedrosa “We need to work on the rear to improve”
Second time for the Spanish Repsol Honda Team rider
Dani Pedrosa closed Day 1 of Aragon, the fourteenth event of the 2012 world championship, with the second fastest time. The Repsol Honda Team rider "surrendered" only to Ben Spies who preceded him by just 66 thousandths. The Misano debacle is behind us, now he's aiming for the maximum at home and he's highly motivated, he has the say.
“At least we had a fully wet session this afternoon to work on the bike and I felt pretty good. I slowly got into my rhythm, although there wasn't much grip at the rear and that's where we still need to work to improve in some corners. It seems that the weather forecast is not good for tomorrow either, so it will be important to use the morning session to be well prepared for qualifying. I'm very motivated this weekend, I'll try to do my best.”
