Moto3 | GP Mugello Race: Foggia, “I have no regrets”

Good performance for the Sky Racing Team VR46 drivers in the Mugello Grand Prix, who were the authors of a satisfying comeback. Dennis Foggia achieved fifth place, while Celestino Vietti crossed the finish line ninth.

Dennis Foggia: “A race at full throttle: I attacked from the first corner so as not to lose contact with the group, I wanted the podium, I tried, but I couldn't. However, I have no regrets, I gave it my all, but in the end I had none left and the rear tire, in the heat, was difficult to manage. On the last lap I hoped to catch Antonelli's slipstream at the end of the straight, I couldn't overtake at that point, but only when braking. We are going to Barcelona full of energy after this good result."

Celestine Vietti: “I'm happy with the points and the Top10 even though I did my best to catch up with the group of very first and be able to fight for the positions that count in the final laps. The heat complicated things a bit, but overall a good race. Let's focus on Barcelona to be more competitive in the long run."
