Best seasonal result for the Italtrans Racing team driver, Enea Bastianini, who always proves to be an excellent confirmation among the rookies of the intermediate category. After a good start from eleventh place, the Rimini driver managed to recover, fighting for the top 5, until finishing the finish line in sixth position. Unlucky race for Andrea Locatelli: unfortunately physical problems arose which did not allow him to do better than 18th position.

Aeneas Bastianini: “It was a beautiful race, in which I had a lot of fun. I started from behind, but managed to recover: finishing 6th in my home GP is an excellent result! Thanks to the team for the great work! I hope to continue on this path and always do better."

Andrea Locatelli: “In my home GP I wanted to do well, but unfortunately today, especially from mid-race, I had problems with my left leg and this prevented me from running the race I would have liked. I struggled a lot: in general it was a difficult weekend, during which we weren't able to express ourselves as well as we could. Once this GP is over, we will continue to work to be ready for Barcelona."
