Moto3 | Silverstone GP FP3: Fenati amazing, new track record

Moto3 GP Silverstone Great Britain Free Practice 3 – The third free practice session of the Moto3 class at Silverstone, (stage of the British Grand Prix, twelfth stage of the 2021 MotoGP world championship, ed.) saw Romano Fenati excel.

The Max Racing Team driver further lowered the track record, leaving abysmal gaps over the competition. Fenati in fact lapped in 2:10.619, the only driver to lap under the "wall" of 2:11.

Ayumu Sasaki, riding the Team Red Bull Tech 0.484 KTM, follows him by almost half a second (+3s). Third time goes to Darryn Binder (Honda Petronas), followed by his brand mates Jeremy Alcoba (Gresini) and Dennis Foggia (Leopard ).

Jaume Masia on the KTM of Team Red Bull Ajo is sixth, ahead of John McPhee (Honda Petronas), Tatsuki Suzuki (Honda SIC58 Squadra Corse), Andrea Migno (Honda Snipers), Deniz Oncu (KTM Red Bull Tech 3) and Stefano Nepa (KTM BOE).

In addition to these riders, Lorenzo Fellon (Honda SIC2 Squadra Corse), Niccolò Antonelli (KTM Avintia) and Riccardo Rossi (KTM BOE) also enter directly into Q58.

Surprisingly, the leader of the world championship classification Pedro Acosta will also be among those who will have to pass through Q1.
