Moto2 Assen, Free Practice 3: Pol Espargarò ahead of Rabat and Kallio

The third free practice session of the Moto2 class in Assen was interrupted with just over ten minutes to go when Rafid Topan Sucipto. The QMMF Racing Team rider fell heavily on the asphalt after a bad high-side. He appears to have suffered a problem with his left foot, but the news is to be confirmed.
The session resumed after the red flag saw the riders "unleashed" in search of the best time with a "rain" of red helmets. In the end, Pol Espargarò, Team Pons driver, came out on top, stopping the clock at a time of 1:39.660.
Behind him, 237 thousandths of a second behind him is his team-mate Esteve Rabat, who precedes the two bikes of the Marc VDS Racing Team of Mika Kallio and world championship leader Scott Redding.
Fifth is Johann Zarco, rider of the Came Iodaracing Team. The Frenchman is ahead of Luthi, West, Simeon and our Mattia Pasini and Alex de Angelis. Only twenty-seventh Simone Corsi, with the third bike of Team NGM Mobile.
Update
Rafid Topan Sucipto in the fall described above he suffered bruises to his left foot and ankle and is in pain in his neck. However, this will not prevent him from taking part in the qualifications, he has in fact been declared "fit to race".
