Alberto Moncayo, Spanish rider of the Andalucia Cajasol team, was the fastest in the second free practice session of the 125 class on the Estoril circuit. Moncayo stopped the clock at a time of 2'05.490, leaving Johann Zarco, the French driver of the WTR San Marino Team who led the tests in Portugal for almost the entire session, more than 1 second behind.

In third position is Nico Terol, first of the riders in the running for the title, ahead of Esteve Rabat and Pol Espargaro who suffered a crash. Efren Vazquez, Randy Krummenacher, Danny Webb and even Marc Marquez also crashed, as he ended practice early by covering just a few laps and obtaining the last time of the session.

After the best time this morning, Bradley Smith is sixth, while the Italians have recovered positions: Lorenzo Savadori is 10th, Simone Grotzkyj 13th despite a crash without consequences.

Twentieth Luca Marconi, out of 107% Morciano, Gabrielli, Ravaioli and Tonucci from 26th to 29th provisional position in the standings.
