Moto2 Indianapolis, Prove Libere 2: Aegerter davanti a Cortese, Corsi è sesto
Nono tempo per il sammarinese Alex de Angelis, che già da Brno potrebbe correre in MotoGP
Dominique Aegerter ha ottenuto il miglior tempo nella seconda sessione di prove libere della classe Moto2 all’Indianapolis MotorSpeedway, decima tappa del motomondiale 2014.
Il vincitore del Sachsenring ha portato la sua Suter al comando con il crono di 1:37.518 andando a precedere di soli 10 millesimi il tedesco Sandro Cortese, in sella alla Kalex del Dynavolt Intact GP.
Terzo tempo per i leader del mondiale Esteve Rabat, in sella alla Kalex del Marc VDS Racing Team. Lo spagnolo, che anche il prossimo anno correrà nella Moto2, precede Luthi, West e il nostro Simone Corsi, sesto con la Kalex del Forward Racing.
Chiudono la Top Ten Maverick Vinales, Luis Salom, Alex de Angelis e Jordi Torres. Sessione difficile per Mattia Pasini, caduto e infortunatosi ad un dito. Il pilota ha comunque chiuso con il diciottesimo tempo.
