The 2010 TTXGP title goes to Himmelmann of Munch, but Branna put on a great show with the eCRP and with his talent as a professional driver, taking second place in a championship whose regulations do not provide for a distinction between classes, that is say, it's as if a MotoGP vehicle could take to the track and compete with a 125cc or Moto2 vehicle, this would be considered rather risky.
But Italy is still on the podium in Albacete.
Even if in the end the world title narrowly missed out, the final in Albacete showed that the Italian CRP Racing team is there, both for the technology put on the track, for the competitiveness of the men and also for the speed with which the technical staff managed to design and build the motorbike in, just 8 months, world-beating times!

The eCRP was able to defeat all its contenders with the same engine, but not only that...despite the fact that the Munch was presented with an engine characterized by different and very powerful technology, but also more expensive, the CRP fought until the end, giving a hard time to Himmelmann, eliminating the distance lap after lap and only a few tenths removed Brannetti from first place.
Alessandro Brannetti: “I can be satisfied with my first season with electric motorbikes, I also tried to win the world title after winning the European title at Brands Hatch, I tried to overtake Himmelmann, but I didn't succeed by a hair's breadth. Neither of them had any intention of giving up until the last metre. However, I take home an excellent result, which saw a super job by the technical staff, who were able to resolve in a very short time those problems with the controllers that gave us some worries during the test days. The bike on Sunday was perfect and this is thanks to the great professionalism of all the CRP Racing technicians.”

A race weekend, which should have also seen the Russian team SMP Racing on the track with the eCRP 1.2, but unfortunately due to problems encountered with the controllers, it was unable to start together with the others, with the regret of all the CRP staff Racing, who did their best right up until the end to allow the driver Alexey Ivanov to take to the Albacete track, had to surrender to technical complications. But this is part of the rules of motorsport, rules that have not changed the Russian team's mind on the potential of the eCRP, the vehicle chosen by SMP for its agility and power characteristics.

As regards Brannetti's race, the Italian team gave a great show of tenacity by taking second place ahead of all the other international teams, who participated in large numbers in this important event. A very respectable starting grid: 12 drivers took to the track to demonstrate that electric competitions are a reality and that the spectacle is guaranteed.
Strong emotions alternated with moments of pure adrenaline, in which the participants challenged each other to the wire, demonstrating a high level of competitiveness, recording significant qualifying times.
Now the curtain falls on the most discussed championship of this 2010 season, the TTXGP, which has managed to gather the support of many fans and enthusiasts, but which needs some additions in terms of regulations. Who knows what surprises and competitions await us in 2011, but you can count on one thing, eCRP will be there!
