SuperbikeTurkey: Superpole in Sykes
The Englishman beat Guintoli by a matter of cents
One more time Tom Sykes he establishes himself as the man of Saturday afternoon and also in Turkey he takes home the free watch for whoever scores the Superpole. Sylvain Guintoli was therefore mocked on the official Aprilia, the fastest in the previous rounds, who threw everything away with several mistakes scattered throughout his last useful lap
Good third place for Davide Giugliano from whom we expect two consistent heats and obviously without crashes, followed by the other RSV4 of Eugene Laverty who stole the position right at the last from an excellent Toni Elias, still in the apprenticeship phase with the 'Aprilia Red Devils.
Well done Jules Cluzel, sixth, even ahead of Marco Melandri who never appeared at 100% on his BMW at least in this session. Followed by his colleague Chaz Davies and Leon Haslam's Honda Pata.
Michel Fabrizio, replacing Jonathan Rea from Ten Kate, was in difficulty, only twelfth and behind the Kawasaki Pedercini duo of Mark Aitchison and Federico Sandi.
Finally, Vittorio Iannuzzo did not ride due to technical problems on his BMW S1000 RR.
