MotoGP Misano, Free Practice 4: Marquez, best time and crash
The world championship leader also makes FP4 his own, ahead of Lorenzo, Bautista and Valentino Rossi
The fourth free practice session of the MotoGP class in Misano, not valid for entry into Q2, was held with 25° in the air and 37° on the asphalt. Marc Marquez once again achieved the best time.
The world championship leader also clocked a time of 1:33.912 and also felt the "thrill" of the fall. In fact, he lost the front end of his Honda RC213V at turn 13, subsequently ending the session with the second bike.
Behind the Honda rookie we find the reigning champion Jorge Lorenzo, 213 thousandths behind. Excellent performance by Alvaro Bautista, third on the Honda RC213V of Team Gresini.
The Spaniard preceded our Valentino Rossi, fourth, 535 thousandths behind Marquez. Followed by Dani Pedrosa, Andrea Dovizioso (first Ducati on the track) just over a second behind, Cal Crutchlow, Stefan Bradl, Michele Pirro (Ducati tester) and his team-mate Andrea Iannone.
The best CRT is that of Aleix Espargarò, eleventh with the ART of Team Aspar and ahead of Nicky Hayden's Ducati, in his last appearance with the Ducati in front of the Italian fans.
