USA Superbike: Sykes wins Race 1 at Laguna Seca

In a race characterized by the two red flags waved to allow the commissioners to fix the air-fences after the crashes of Danny Eslick and later on Niccolò Canepa, Leon Haslam and Roger Lee Hayden, he was the winner Tom Sykes. Good sixth place for David Giugliano on Aprilia Althea, ahead of Suzuki's Jules cluzel, to the Noale bike of the Bravo's Red Devils team Toni Elias, started from fifteenth place, and from the only surviving Ducati, that of Ayrton Badovini.
Excellent tenth place for the Australian Mark Aitchison on Ninja Pedercini, followed by the official one of David Solomon and from the GSX R1000 of Blake Young, replacement for Leon Camier. Thirteenth and anonymous Michelle Fabrizio with the Honda Pata.

Given how Guintoli went both at the first start and at the second, I would say that he was quite unlucky, without the interruptions he would have easily been on one of the first two steps on the podium. I hope he does it again in game 2.
