Superbike, Misano Test: race simulations for the Barni Racing Team

The days of testing to prepare for the seventh round of the season, which will take place on this track in two weeks, also ended for the Barni Racing Team at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli.

Xavi Forés, after a difficult weekend at Donington Park, which he defined as "the most complicated of the season", without even returning to base, took to the track to concentrate on long runs aboard his Panigale R.

With a tenth and seventh place in the Pata UK Round, the Spanish driver promptly said he wanted to become competitive again at Misano: “We want to be immediately close to the leaders, as was the case in Imola (fifth and fourth place ed.). Misano is a circuit that I like and where Ducati works better than the English one."

Principal manager Marco Barnabó outlined the balance of these two days of testing: “We believe we have found a good chassis that allows us a fast and constant race pace, perhaps there is still something to do for the flying lap, but I'm very satisfied. Thanks to the excellent work of the team and the driver we also managed to do the race simulation and this is certainly the most positive thing, I must say that the results in that situation were good".
