The two days of official Dorna testing at MotorLand Aragon, reserved for teams and riders of the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship, saw six-time world champion Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki Racing Team WorldSBK) set the best time: a 1'48.714 unattainable for Toprak Razgatlioglu (Pata Yamaha with Brixx WorldSBK) and Alvaro Bautista (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati), who stopped within three tenths of a second.

Rea set the time in the afternoon session, improving the references made up to that point, while Razgatlioglu today manages to do better than Alvaro Bautista, who thanks to his 1'49.094 puts two tenths of a second behind Garrett Gerloff (GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK Team).
Gerloff today tested new features previously tested by the Pata Yamaha team, such as the electronics tested yesterday by Razgatlioglu. Fifth time for Loris Baz (Bonovo Action BMW), best BMW driver in 1'49.383 who, however, did not improve in the last session.

Andrea Locatelli (Pata Yamaha with Brixx WorldSBK) was sixth in 1'49.831 and preceded a group of seven riders within three tenths of a second. Michael Ruben Rinaldi (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) finished in seventh place, just 32 thousandths behind the Lombard: the Rimini native tested the new swingarm present on his Ducati Panigale V4 R.
Iker Lecuona (Team HRC) is the best Honda rider and is just ahead of his boxmate Xavi Vierge: for both of them it will be the first race weekend in WorldSBK.
Rookie Philipp Oettl (Team Goeleven) closes the top ten thanks to his 1'50.086.
Scott Redding (BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) – down at Turn 5 today – is 11th ahead of Alex Lowes (Kawasaki Racing Team WorldSBK).

Eugene Laverty (Bonovo Action BMW) with his M 1000 RR has the 13th fastest time, despite the crash which occurred during the second session at turn 9. Behind him the other BMW rider Ilya Mikhalchik (BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) who took the place of the injured Michael van der Mark in these tests.
Rookie Roberto Tamburini (Yamaha Motoxracing WorldSBK Team) was fifteenth in 1'50.656, less than two seconds behind Rea.

These are the top ten at the end of the second day of Testing:

1. Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki Racing Team WorldSBK) 1'48.714
