Leon Camier (Moriwaki Althea Honda Racing) remains convalescing after the accident which occurred during the Pirelli Italian Round: the English rider is therefore forced to withdraw from the Acerbis Spanish Round in Jerez, sixth round of the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship.

Although the pain has greatly diminished, Camier still doesn't feel in top form and doesn't want to take risks, aiming to get back to his best in Misano.

“I am very disappointed because I had to miss the Misano tests and I will miss the Spanish Round, thus losing the opportunity to continue working on the development of the bike. Either way, we are where we are and we have to accept it. On the other hand, joint recovery takes time and is complex and takes time to heal. Having said that” – continued Leon Camier – “my recovery is going well. The pain is reducing more and more and my movements are improving, we'll see how the situation will be in view of the Misano Round."

It hasn't been an easy season for him at the moment given that, injury aside, he has only managed to get back into the top 10 once.
