Dorna WSBK Organization on the eve of the Malaysian event announced another collaboration with Fassi, named the Main Sponsor of the sixth seasonal round of the 2016 MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship, which therefore takes the name of Fassi Malaysian Round.

Fassi, world leader in the production of cranes and trucks, is already one of the main partners of the championship, and as main sponsor of the event will see the global exposure of its brand increase, an important detail especially now that the Italian company will open the first factory outside its home country.
The inauguration will coincide with the start of the round and the new factory, which will be built outside Kuala Lumpur, will certainly prove to be a flagship of the company.

“Our participation in the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship represents an incredible opportunity to reach four continents during the year, thanks to motorcycle racing that is a guarantee of strong competition and incredibly spectacular racing” – he said Giovanni Fassi, CEO of the Group – “This trip around the world puts the spotlight on the Fassi brand and has become in recent years a prestigious event for our international sales network, thanks to which we get customers closer to the exciting experiences offered by the WorldSBK. Fassi's presence in South-East Asia is growing and being the Main Sponsor of this year's Malaysian event, at the Sepang International Circuit, makes our image even stronger in the market of this area".

“We are happy that Fassi is returning as Main Sponsor of WorldSBK” – he said Marc Surina, WorldSBK commercial and marketing director – “The exposure that the Championship offers is unique and provides a perfect opportunity for a global company like Fassi. We are excited to continue the collaboration with this new agreement between DWO and the Italian company.”
