Repsol Honda Team, Dovizioso: “We will also be competitive in Assen”

Andrea Dovizioso, after his second place at Silverstone, is motivated to achieve another good result at Assen, a track that has only seen him on the podium once in the past, a third place in 2006 in the 250cc class. Nonetheless, the Italian driver is ready to renew the challenge and repeat himself on the historic Dutch track.

“After the podium at Silverstone, I am very happy to race at Assen. The old track was beautiful, now with the changes made it has lost part of its charm. We are in good shape and I feel we will be competitive again this weekend. In particular in England we had an excellent race strategy so I am motivated to fight for another good result, which is important for the Championship. Assen is a circuit characterized by two parts, the first is quite slow, while the second, the old track, is demanding and technical. I'm very sorry for Dani, I hope he recovers soon and gets back to full fitness."
