Valentino Rossi (as written in the previous news and above in the Dorna photo) was one of the protagonists of the press conference at the Sachsenring. The centaur from Tavullia who returns to the track after a quick recovery (tomorrow will be 41 days) from the fracture of the tibia and fibula of his right leg is thus fully back in his world and tomorrow at 13.55pm he will get on his faithful YZR-M1. Here are some passages from the press conference.

“Immediately after the fall the doctors told me that it would take at least 5 months to get back into shape, but I just have to get on a motorbike, not play football! – said Rossi as reported by Motogp.com – The feeling at Misano was very positive and the feeling at Brno was even better, so we made the decision to return to the Sachsenring this weekend. I'm in good shape, but I think it will be difficult over the full race distance. These two races at the Sachsenring and Laguna are very important to then be in shape in the last five or six races of the season and try to win again. My shoulder has improved but there is still some pain. The leg injury is worse, of course, but I think it will be less of a problem than the shoulder.”

Rossi has neither denied nor confirmed his future at Ducati.
“It's too early to say now, but I think we will be ready to announce our plans for 2011 in Brno.”
