Moto 2 is a category that in its initial races seemed to be born under the best auspices from the point of view of the spectacle offered, because there was no shortage of brawl at every braking point. In the last tests, however, the only emotions came from the riders' crashes and the unseen yellow flags. In short, everything except that mix of overtaking, competitive spirit and challenges with the time trial that Dorna imagined. Some riders, then, were penalized by the lack of feeling with the bike set up by the teams without having the reference points of past seasons, and among these there is Raffaele De Rosa. The Neapolitan of Racing Team Tech 3 last year became 250 Rookie world champion, while today, to paraphrase a famous passage by Battiato, he is still looking for a permanent center of gravity. The tests carried out on the Spanish asphalt of the Motorland Aragon Circuit have allowed Raffaele to achieve a satisfactory set-up, and he is preparing to face the Sachsenring trip with the aim of improving and grabbing the first points of the season: “First – explains De Rosa – I suffered from a lack of confidence on the front, especially in the cornering phases. The supply was, then, another sore point. This led me to make various mistakes, which most of the time turned into slips. The team's technicians worked on weight distribution and chassis rigidity, and Yuki's victory demonstrates that the path taken is the right one. Now I feel much more comfortable, and the bike is less unpredictable when changing direction." As mentioned, this weekend the Moto 2 boys' arena will be the historic Sachsenring track in Germany:

“It is – says Raffaele – with its 3.671 meters the shortest circuit in the championship. It is run counterclockwise, and has ten left and four right corners, and the straight is about 800 meters long. I remember that in the past it was part of East Germany, and was famous for its dangerousness. Even if it's not one of my favourites, I can't wait to test the bike's behavior on a track that, if we had tackled it before the latest changes, would not have been favorable on paper. Given its tortuosity, it promises to be a spectacular race, and to overtake you literally have to invent trajectories that are different from the ideal one. My attitude will be as usual combative, and I hope to get a good result, reaching the top ten."
