MotoGP – Sepang Test Day 1 – Casey Stoner: “We are very satisfied with the progress”

Casey Stoner's positive moment aboard the Honda RC212V continues. the new Repsol Honda Team rider worked really well today in Sepang too, finishing the first day of testing in the lead. The former Ducati rider continued to compare the frames (one more rigid and one more flexible) but given the subtle differences in chronometric terms he has not yet made a final decision. The word is up to him.

“It was a really good day, right from the start I felt at ease with the bike. I understand the bike better. We managed to work on the set-up but we are still doing a chassis comparison, finding the strengths and weaknesses on both. It's difficult to choose one or the other, whatever set-up we use seems to work quite well with very similar lap times. We are very pleased with the progress we have made and everything seems to be working well.”
