MotoGP | Jerez Test Day 2: Quartararo, "It's only the first step, but Yamaha knows what to do"

MotoGP Test Jerez Day 2 Yamaha Monster – Fabio Quartararo closed the second and final day of IRTA testing at the Jerez circuit with the second fastest time.

The new World Champion completed 68 laps and worked to collect data with the 2022 specification bike. He set a personal best time of 1'37.324 on his penultimate attempt and finished the session in second place, 0,452 from first. The result places him in third position in the combined standings.

“Here in Jerez we tested a first step of the 2022 bike, but it is only the first step. Yamaha knows what to do to improve a lot. We will be 100% focused on what we need to do for next year. I still have some events. I won't have much free time until December. After that I will enjoy my free time.”
