MotoGP 2015 German GP Free Practice 4 – The fourth free practice session, not valid for the purposes of qualifying, but where the riders lap in race configuration, saw Marc Marquez excel once again.

The reigning Honda champion stopped the clock with a time of 1:21.334, a time 0.249s better than that set by his team-mate Dani Pedrosa, who boasts a good relationship with this circuit.

In third position we still find a motorcycle from the golden wing manufacturer, that of the British Scott Redding. Immediately behind are the Yamahas of Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo, 0.519s and 0.587s off the top respectively. Sixth time for Yonny Hernandez's Ducati, seventh for Pol Espargarò's Yamaha and eighth for Andrea Iannone's Ducati.

Closing out the Top Ten are the British Cal Crutchlow and Bradley Smith, the former on a Honda of Team LCR, the latter on a Yamaha of Team Tech 3. Andrea Dovizioso with the Ducati is eleventh, ahead of the Suzuki of the rookie Maverick Vinales and the GP14 of the Terni native Danilo Petrucci.

Of note is the excellent performance of Alex de Angelis from San Marino, who brought the Iodaracing ART to eighteenth position, better than Alvaro Bautista's Aprilia RS-GP, which should be an evolution of the ART.
