Find the latest evolution of the Honda RC212V 2008, and this, according to Losail, is already news. Nicky Hayden is ready for Jerez de la Frontera, a track he particularly likes where he performed well in the winter tests, riding the new 800cc from Tokyo. Having abandoned 2007, the "Kentucky Kid" is rightly convinced that he will perform well in the second event on the calendar, trying to obtain that result that for one reason or another was missing at Losail

“Qatar wasn't a great weekend for us, but we are working hard to do better in Jerez”, says the former world champion. “Our bike should do well in Jerez, and in the past the Michelins have always been competitive here. We are working in all sectors, because in Jerez it is important to have a good package and a balance capable of going strong everywhere. It's a nice track, and it's always nice to race here: the crowd is warm, and on Sunday morning in the warm-up you always see the grandstands full. There's a good atmosphere and Jerez is one of my favorite tracks: it will be really important to get a good result than to change the face of this season".

Nicky Hayden finished third in 2006 behind Daniel Pedrosa, and it is his best result on the Andalusian track.
