Excellent second row and fourth time for Cal Crutchlow at Phillip Island, scene of the penultimate stage of the 2012 world championship. The British rider of Team Tech 3 is confident ahead of the race, he has the say.
“We made some important progress today and fortunately things are better now. I'm not 100% yet but I'm improving session after session. Today I feel good on the bike, but I'm certainly not pushing to the maximum in this race. At the beginning of the session I used a used soft tire on the rear to see the race pace with the used tyres. I'm happy because I was fast even with tires that I had used for more than 30 laps. I feel good about the race and I'm confident."
