MotoGP Mugello, Qualifying 1: Marquez and Smith enter Q2 where pole will be contested
However, Andrea Iannone, "only" third and therefore the "Saturday" of Mugello ends here, doesn't make it
di Alessio Brunori1 June, 2013
The Q1 session of the MotoGP at Mugello decreed the two riders who will be able to participate in Q2, where the pole of the Tim Italian Grand Prix will be contested in the 15 minutes of the "time" attack.
The best time went to Marc Marquez, who preceded Bradley Smith. The two rookies (the first from Honda, the second from Yamaha) had crashed yesterday and were in doubt for today. Marquez even crashed a second time this morning, and this did not allow him to qualify directly for Q2.
However, Andrea Iannone remains out, only third and ahead of the CRTs of Randy de Puniet, Hector Barberà and Danilo Petrucci of Iodaracing from Terni.
