MotoGP – Misano – Toni Elias in sixth position

Toni Elias was the protagonist of a good race today in Misano Adriatico, managing to stay in front in the first laps and then finishing in sixth position. The Spanish driver thus emerges from the San Marino and Rimini Riviera Grand Prix with a positive result with the desire to repeat himself in Estoril where he won in 2006.

“I am on the one hand happy and on the other disappointed because a sixth place is positive but thinking back to how I started and how I was going strong in the first part of the race I think I could have done much better. The team did a great job on the bike, after a rather complicated Friday, but today at a certain point something happened that we weren't able to understand at the moment. We have to analyze the data but it's a real shame because we have shown that we can keep up with the top of the class. Now there is another long interruption and we are sorry because it would be better for us to get back on track immediately and take advantage of the positive moment, patience ! I can't wait to be at Estoril, a circuit that I love and on which I won in 2006 riding a Team Gresini bike and where I hope to recover important points."
