MotoGP – Misano QP1 – Dani Pedrosa: "We can do better in the race"

Dani Pedrosa came close to taking pole position at Misano Adriatico, but in the end, due to Valentino Rossi's great performance, he found himself in second position. However, for tomorrow's race the Repsol Honda rider is confident, with the hope of finding something more to be able to fight for the victory.

“It's definitely positive to start from the front row, plus we weren't that far from pole position. Here our rivals are very strong, but we have worked a lot on the set-up in view of the race and there is still the possibility of improving further. In qualifying I gave my all, even though it's never easy to do a clean lap at Misano. Tomorrow will certainly be an exciting race where I hope to find that something extra that will allow us to fight for the victory: it will still be a demanding race, with a lot of heat and wind, but with a certainly special atmosphere."
