MotoGP Misano: Hector Barberà “I'm very sorry for Pedrosa”
A collision by the Team Pramac rider puts his compatriot Pedrosa out of action
The San Marino GP was supposed to be Hector Barberà's return to racing after the double injury that struck him last summer, but it is certainly not the race that the Pramac team rider was expecting. Falling, as we know, never makes anyone happy, but when in the fall you drag with you a rider who, in addition to being blameless, is also fighting for the world championship, the disappointment is obviously great. The Spaniard was unable to do anything to avoid contact with his compatriot, and his words were almost all for Pedrosa. The word is up to him.
“I'm so sorry for Dani, he didn't deserve to fall like that. We were at the limit when braking and I found myself between him and De Puniet. I didn't have the space to stop and I took it... I'm sorry because I have an excellent relationship with Pedrosa and he is competing for the world championship. Unfortunately, however, these things can happen in the race and I can only apologize, both to Dani and to his team. Now I'm going home, I'll try to rest, focusing on the next race, at Argon.”
