MotoGP – Misano – Great race for Loris Capirossi

After not exactly exciting qualifications, Loris Capirossi showed off his "attributes" in the race, managing to bring his Suzuki GSV-R 800cc to the finish line in fifth position in the Misano race, the thirteenth round of the 2009 world championship. The Imola native played the 4th place with Andrea Dovizioso and he was unable to finish ahead of the HRC rider and for this reason he is a bit disappointed; the result still remains excellent, here are his words after the race.

“I'm very disappointed and very upset to have lost fourth place on the last lap, I think we deserved it and it would have been a great result for the whole team, Suzuki and all the sponsors. Dovizioso was a little faster than me on the last lap and even though I tried to close the door he overtook me very quickly. I tried to get over it but I couldn't. We improved continuously throughout the weekend and it was a great race for us and, although I am disappointed to have lost fourth, because this would have been the best result this year, we are certainly closer and I think we will get there very soon. .”
