MotoGP: Marc Marquez, “I think it was a very positive day”
The reigning Honda champion also tested a new swingarm with a view to 2016
MotoGP 2015 Repsol Honda Misano – Marc Marquez said he was satisfied with the first day of testing at Misano. The reigning Honda champion set the second best time, behind his compatriot Jorge Lorenzo. In total he completed 41 laps for 173 km and a personal best lap of 1:32.924. The word is up to him.
“I think it was a very positive day. The track has changed quite a bit since we came here for the test, because it has much less grip and we had some problems that we hadn't encountered then – said Marc Marquez – we can be happy, because we have stored a lot of data and have tested a new swingarm that will help Honda understand the direction to take for next year. We won't use it, because there are some negatives, but there were also some positives to take inspiration from."
