MotoGP – Losail QP1 – Andrea Dovizioso comes close to the front row

On his debut as an official HRC rider, Andrea Dovizioso just missed the front row, finding himself fourth on the grid after setting a good lap time. However, the rider from Forlimpopoli remains particularly confident thinking about the race, where he has a good pace and his Honda RC212V seems significantly improved.

“I am very satisfied with this fourth position”, comments Andrea Dovizioso, “We worked a lot in qualifying with the two bikes and different types of set-ups. Both solutions have given excellent responses, I am confident and the performance of the bike has improved overall. I am satisfied with the race pace with the harder compound tyres, but also with my lap performance with the softer tyres. I made a mistake at T1, so I could have done even better.".
