“We worked a lot for the race looking for the best setup. For the race the hard tire is an obvious choice but with the soft I should have done better. However, I am satisfied with the pole and for tomorrow we will obviously use the hard tire.
Valentino Rossi – Yamaha – 2th time
“Our goal was to get second and we succeeded. We are close to Stoner and have worked in the right direction after the Jerez tests. It will be a long race, starting second is essential.”
Jorge Lorenzo – Yamaha – 3nd half
“I'm a bit disappointed because with the hard tire we encountered some problems that didn't arise during the winter tests. With the soft one, however, we went well but the race will be an unknown."
