Displeasure reigns supreme in Marco Simoncelli and the Team. An accident that was not needed and which leaves a bad taste in the mouth of the Team San Carlo Honda Gresini rider for what happened to Pedrosa and for the lack of a result that was well within his reach. His good faith can be read in his words and when he states that he broke away at the usual point and in having anticipated Pedrosa when entering the corner, leaving the rider a meter of space. No controversy that fuels further disappointment is the basis of his considerations on the incident but certainly on the treatment received as a consequence perhaps of what was rumored in the previous rounds. The disappointment remains strong for the missed second place after a great race and for the fact that Pedrosa got hurt due to the fall. It's worth repeating: he didn't want us!

Marco Simoncelli (5th) “I'm sorry for what happened, for the missed result which was within my reach and especially for the fact that Pedrosa hurt his shoulder due to the accident. In my opinion the dynamics of the accident went like this: Pedrosa was in a bit of difficulty and in fact in just three laps I had approached and overtaken him, then on the straight he overtook me and I didn't want to resist him intentionally, in fact from the telemetry we read that I braked at the exact point of the previous laps but I think he braked much earlier and I found myself on the outside, entering the corner, in front of him. I didn't want to close him and I left him a meter from the curb to be able to enter but I saw that he got upset and even though I tried to right myself he hit me in the leg and in the rear wheel, losing his balance and falling to the ground. I repeat, I'm sorry and I absolutely don't want to make a controversy about the penalty even if I believe it is a consequence of all the noise that was made in the previous days. I will have the opportunity to make up for it in Barcelona.”

Hiroshi Aoyama (8th) "I'm quite satisfied because I felt comfortable with the bike even if the lap times were lower than expected the day before. I brought home other points which are important in the economy of the Championship and I go to Barcelona confident."

Fausto Gresini “I mainly believe in the good faith of our driver. It's a race accident that could happen and certainly wasn't wanted at the moment in which Marco, after having recovered, had overtaken Pedrosa and I believe that the accident was involuntary. Naturally, we are very sorry, especially that Dani hurt his shoulder. It wasn't necessary and I think that all the controversies of recent days have fueled and will fuel a situation that is certainly not pleasant. It wasn't necessary because Marco would have richly deserved the podium and this second. Unfortunately once again for different reasons he didn't achieve it and I hope that he can achieve his goal in Barcelona. Aoyama did well and continues to collect valuable points while making good progress. ”

I'm sorry but dear Sic did a great job. One meter of space….
Yes, he broke away better but having seen it he could have waited for a bend and passed him again without mowing anyone down. It is now the second year of MGP and if he wanted to become Rossi's heir he also had to remember his brains.

It's clear why Pedrosa picked up the bike.. HE CAME A LONG WAY!!! The images are clear!!! IF SIMONCELLI WASN'T THERE HE WOULD PASS STRAIGHT OUT!! and luckily he didn't hit the mark on supersic...he simply didn't accept that simoncelli was so much faster than him and when he saw himself overtaken he pulled like a cogxxne, widening on the straight which almost threw out supermiticoSIC and arriving with the bike all messed up and jumping braking... how cowardly to blame sic.. pedrosa should just be ashamed... and cry like only he can do... and when pedrosa knocked hyden down while fighting for the world championship??? no disqualification?? no drive through??? and stoner who kicks and punches??? and Lorenzo on where at the start of the race?? Spaniards go racing with mimimotos!!! Pedrosa next year in moto3!!!

GREAT SIC58, I advise you to take the notice of the penalty with Pedrosa and print it on the fairings, then I passed everyone... I won and then released the following statement "they branded me and therefore I put the fine on the fairings eh eh eh! but then I stripped their fairings eh eh eh!!” there are many of us with you sic don't give up.
