Gp Le Mans MotoGP Free Practice 4 – The fourth free practice session of the MotoGP class at Le Mans, not valid for entry into Q2, but where the riders test in both race and qualifying settings, saw the riders take to the track with slick tyres.

Unfortunately for Ducati and for the Ducatisti, Andrea Dovizioso and Jorge Lorenzo immediately crashed, the former at turn 6, the latter at turn 10. Both lost the front end of their Desmosedici GP17s and returned to the pits to take the second motorbikes.

Jack Miller's fall was also very bad, the Australian rider had a terrible crash, with the bike destroyed and the rider fortunately standing 9 minutes into the session. A big scare, which was resolved without problems for the #43 Honda, who then returned to the pits.

Nine minutes from the end of the session there was also a crash for the reigning champion Marc Marquez, who crashed without consequences at turn 3. The #93 then restarted the bike and curiously returned to the pits via the paddock. The rookie Jonas Folger, rider of Team Monster Yamaha Tech 3, also crashed subsequently, rider ok.

The fastest at the end of the 30 minutes of testing was Maverick Vinales, who set a time of 1:32.906. The Spanish Yamaha rider preceded Dani Pedrosa by just 57 thousandths, who in turn precedes Valentino Rossi and home idol Johann Zarco.

Followed by Cal Crutchlow, Alvaro Bautista, Marc Marquez, Scott Redding, Aleix Espargarò and Andrea Dovizioso.
