MotoGP: Jorge Lorenzo, “We did an excellent job”

Yamaha MotoGP GP Catalunya 2015 – A serene and confident Jorge Lorenzo spoke at the end of the first day of testing for the Catalunya Grand Prix. Despite the seventh time, the two-time MotoGP world champion said he was satisfied with the improvements made to his Yamaha M1 between the morning and afternoon sessions. The word is up to him.

“I think we did a great job from morning to afternoon. In the morning the grip of the track was worse than at Mugello. The bike moved a lot, especially when accelerating. We have done a great job in making the bike more stable, so the performance has improved a lot and we have a constant pace – said Jorge Lorenzo – This will be very important for Sunday's race. Here, compared to the first laps the pace can drop a lot in the middle of the race, so if we have a good set up we can have an advantage at the end of the race.”
