MotoGP: Hector Barberà “Catalunya is a circuit I have always loved”

Hector Barberà and the Pramac team are ready to hit the track tomorrow to start the Barcelona Grand Prix weekend. The Spaniard is fresh from ninth place in the Le Mans Grand Prix, a race which on the one hand brought several points to the standings, on the other it was disappointing for the Spaniard who did not feel good in the wet with his Ducati. Now in Catalunya, on a circuit that Barberà likes so much, the team is aiming for a good result.

“The Catalunya Grand Prix is ​​one of those races that I have always loved – said Barbera – It is the second round in Spain and marks the end of the first quarter of the championship.
The last race didn't go too bad if I think about the points we managed to bring home. Ninth place is a good result, even considering how difficult the first laps of the race were, but I believe that our position is different and I hope that this weekend I will be able to prove it.
I really like Montmelò a lot, it is one of the circuits that suits my driving characteristics well, thanks to the technical and fast corners.
Furthermore, this track gave me wonderful emotions and right here, in 2004, I had one of the hardest races of my career and all this fills me with optimism.
We must work with conviction from the first practice session, giving our best and believing in our potential. The results will come.”
