MotoGP: Brembo gives the "numbers" for the Catalunya GP

Montmelò in Barcelona is considered a very technical track with sudden braking which puts a lot of strain on the brakes. Of particular note is the first braking after the finish line, at the end of a very long straight, where the bikes are engaged in one of the most difficult braking sections in the world championship. The major critical issues for the braking system derive precisely from the difficulty of cooling the brakes. The braking sections, all decisive and very close together, determine very high operating temperatures for discs and pads which are unable to cool down sufficiently in the mixed part of the track.
