Takaaki Nakagami will start from the seventh row in the Misano GP scheduled for tomorrow. Unfortunately the Japanese rider, riding the RCV of Team LCR Honda IDEMITSU, was unable to maintain the progress made in FP3 and FP4, closing Q1 with the nineteenth fastest time.

Here are the words of Takaaki Nakagami: “This morning the track was still damp and I wasn't able to improve enough to get back into Q2. In the afternoon the track was more "rubberized" but we are not yet in the right place... in the sense that the engine braking setup and the engine mapping still create a bit of confusion for me. We are working hard but it will be a tough race (27 laps). For my part, I have to start well and try to be consistent especially in the first laps so as not to lose contact with those in front."
